The ideal candidate will be a licensed electrician who has progressed to management and can provide technical support to the field crew when required. Alternately, the candidate may not be a licensed electrician (given the right circumstances and background) but instead may be technically trained or educated (i.e. Electrical Technician or Technologist). This individual must have an outgoing personality and be able to sell, who is comfortable meeting new people and building relationships. They will also be computer literate and familiar with MS Office, MS Project and Accubid programs. Ideally this person will have estimating experience and be familiar with Jonas management software. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are important.
Specific Requirements:
§ 3 years’ experience in the electrical field, some of that in estimating roles.
§ An Electrician License is an asset.
§ Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, spec sheets, and manuals.
§ Experience with, or working knowledge of, Accubid Estimating software and MS Office/MS Project.
§ Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Advanced problem-solving ability.
§ Attention to detail and a clear understanding of technical issues.
§ A focus on customer service.
§ A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle.
